FOR CITY AMD PROVINCE. The Government meteorologist iuutd to the "Auckland Star" thia afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland Province to aa far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— Light to moderate southerly winds predominating. Weather, fair but cold. Seas, slight to moderate. An anti-cyclone covers Nsw Zealand, the highest pressures bsing in the South Island, and to the north of the North Island. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritlri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, south, fresh; sea, moderate; weather, fine and clear; visibility, good; barometer, high, with a rising tendency.
