CONTROL IN BRITAIN. (Received 2 p.m.) LONDON, June 30. The sale of matches by manufacturers and importers has l>een placed under official control. It is stated that there is no likelihood of a serious shortage at present. The object of the control, ie to ensure equitable distribution.
