COMMENT IN LONDON.
LONDON, June 28. The City Editor at "The Times" states that the changes in the latest balancesheet of the National Bank of New Zealand, Limited, follow the same broad tendencies characterising the figures of the trading banks of the Dominion generally. The growth of the deposits by 12 per cent is partly the result of the restoration of New Zealand's sterling assets to *a more comfortable level, and partly due to the relatively high producing interests. Advances and bills discounted are moderately lower, and the additional resources are mostly employed in investments. '•,
