Hello, Everyone! — , ' ' ' One of the very brightest ideas ; of the" week is mentioned in the Star- * lets' report in this week's Club News. J Deciding that it was about time that ■. fathers took an active hand in our -, winter effort, our enterprising Starlets , imposed upon them a self-denial week! , Apparently the fathers fell into line, for this week we received several " envelopes each headed "Starlets Club Fathers' Self-Denial Week, May 26- ' June 3," and each containing a self- * denial offering. Now this is an idea which we think is fine and which we suggest be taken up by all club fathers. . Wfjy, if each one put in only one shilling, what a fine total there would be! As a matter of fact I am working .. on a scheme along similar lines, which ] will' probably . come into operation -; toward the end of July, but of that ■"3 more later. Meantime, let's make next .' week self-denial week for fathers ' ] June 29-July 6.
