Of silk and satin neatly pieced • And shiny old brocade. - I look them over one by one Each morning in my bed. There's blue and pink and lavender, And one of crimson red. And one, the very best of all, - • • • With pink-tipped roses spread. Great-grandmother has planned them .; '.* out As neatly as can be; ~ She must have worn her spectacles. The stitches are so wee. I wonder if ; she ever thought It once would cover me?
