FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government meteorologist issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast fop the Auckland Province to as far south a* Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga: Light to moderate ana variable winds, with southerly to easterly directions predominating. The weather will bo fins and cool. Seas slight to moderate. The stationary anti-cyclone centred west of the South Island is losing intensity. Pressure is still very low near the Chatham Islands. HAURAKI CULF CONDITIONS. —Tft?, '••••wing report of weather ■ conditions in the Hauraki Culf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon .to-day: Wind, south-west, light; sea: smooth; weather, line; visibility, good: barometer, steady. •-—■
