PROPHECIES.
May I support- "Never Say Die" in (his protest at the defeatist attitude which must be engendered by so-called prophecies of Britain's defeat. I was amazed to learn from my daughter, A sixth-form pupil at a secondary school, had heard this kind of twaddle from a mistress. One girl had told her that she felt quite ill after it. One can imagine the effect this sort of thing would hare on impressionable girls. I suggest that if she had told those girls to pin their minds on the miracle of Dunkirk whenever they feel "down" about things and realise that the courage and heroic tenacity which made the evacuation possible will also (bring us to victory she would have been doing better service to Wr pupils and to her country ak<K
