KILLED BY EARTH FALL.
YOUNG MAN ENGULFED. (By Telegraph .—Press Association.) HASTINGS, this day. Mr. John Pallesen, aged 23, was killed by a fall of earth on his father's farm at Haumoana yesterday. He was working with his father and brother in the construction of a dam in hilly country when suddenly a fall of earth occurred. The young man was engulfed, and doath was instantaneous.
