OLD BOYS' DINNER.
MOUNT ALBERT GRAMMAR.
One of the largest gatherings for some years attended the annual dinner for senior members of the Mount Albert Old Boys' Association last night. The headmaster, Mr. F. W. Gamble, mentioned that a large number of old boys of the school were now serving with the foic-ee, and several had been killed. A register of old boys was now being compiled.
Toasts honoured included "The School," proposed by the president, Mr. D. Sumner, and responded to by Mr. Gamble; "Kindred Associations," proposed by Mr. C. A. Kingstone, and replied to by Mr. G. P. Shaw, of the King's College Old Boys' Association; and "Old Boys in the Forces," proposed by Colonel C. P. Worley, V.D., and responded to by Leading Aircraftsman R. MeSkimming. The Takapuna Grammar, Sacred Heart College and Auckland Grammar old boys' associations were represented by Messrs. I. S. Munro, R. W. McDonald and L. G. Wothenspoon respectively.
