Among the guests at the Grand Hotel is Mrs. A. Woodhouse, of Xapier. Mrs. J. J. Goodwin has. returned to Hawera after a visit to Auckland.
Miss J. Hammond, of Auckland, will leave next week on a-visit to Okoroire.
Mrs. Xoel Lampriere, of Auckland, is visiting her mother, Mrs. R. Holmes, of Horotiu. .
Mrs. Ledger Holmes, of Martonj is visiting Auckland and is the guest of her mother, Mrs. D. Robertson.

Mrs. G. W. R. Xicholl, of BrettAvenue, Takapuna, who lias been visiting Mrs. E. A. Xicholl, Morningside, Bluff, returned to Auckland yesterday.
Mrs. F. W. G'owinp and her husband, of P-alnierston Xorth, will spend the winter in Auckland. They are staying with Miss Taylor, Hamilton Koad, Hei'ue Bay.
Mrs. O. Rensliaw and Miss Channain Renshav, who have "been staying at the Station Hotel while visiting Auckland, •returned this week to their home in Tauranga.
Miss Mona Blair and Miss E. Hegarty, of Gis'borne, who have -been visiting Auckland, have now left for Hamilton where they will be the guests of Mrs. Wilton Henlev.
