PITCAIRN ISLAND POST.

WELLINGTON, this day.
The New Zealand postal agency at Pitcairn Island will he closed on October
14 next, according to an announcement to-day by the Post and Telegraph Department. On October 15 the Pitcairn Island Post Office will come under thecontrol of the High Commissioner for the Western Pacific and the .i?«uc. of postage stamps will l>e made available from that date.
