THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL.
VISIT -TO TAtrifAßUlftn. (From Our Own Correspondent.) . TAUMARUNUI, Wednesday. Thf Governor-General, Lord Galway, will visit Taumarunui to-morrow for the purpose of opening the Taumarunui and District Winter Show Association's fourteenth annual exhibition. During the afternoon the Mayor, Mr? C. A. Boles, and the Hon. F. Langstone, will accompany the Governor-General to the public school, where primary,, high and country school children will fee assembled. Later his Excellency will visit the public hospital and before dinner will meet the chairmen of local bodies, the president of the Chamber of Commerce and the president of the Returned Soldiers' Association. After opening the winter show in the, evening Lord Galway will be entertained at supper by the offlcials of the show and chairmen of local bodies.
