RE-ESTABLISHMENT - LEAGUE. WORK FOR EX-SOLDIERS. • (15y Telegraph.—Press Ass<>ciation.) WELLINGTON, this.day. The Government's appreciation, of the valua'blb work being performed by tie Soldiers' Civil Re-establishment League was conveyed to the'league by the Minister of Defence, the Hon. F. Jones, at the ■sixth annual meeting. He said-he hoped, members would continue, their activities, since there would.. be much important I work to do in the years to come. Those j for forming the league must jbo very "gratified, with what had-been accomplished over the years. - If they could plan ahead for the men who might be brought 'back disabled or sick so much the better.. The Government, continued Mr. Jones, had set up a committee which.. was- so far only departmental and a very- A*aluable report had 'been submitted to the, Government. The intention, however, was to have the wliolie- question of the repatriation and rehabilitation of men examined, and lie understood tho Prime Minister had agreed to make the organisation .as representative as possible.
