KAIKOHE, Tuesday. A sentence of two months' imprisonment with hard labour was imposed on William Capill for assault when he appeared in the Kaikohe Police Court. Jealousy over a Maori woman, who had once lived with Capill, but who had gone to live with another man 18 months ago, was said to be the cause of CapilFs going to a hut occupied by the other man when he was in a drunken condition and throwing large rocke through the windows, breaking furniture andj crockery.
