BRANCH FORMED.

LADY GALWAY GUILD. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) ~ WHAXGAREI, this day. To make and collect clothing for refugees, a branch of the Lady Gal way Patriotic Guild was formed in Whangarei yesterday afternoon. Seventy women were present at the Town Hall. The following officers were elected:—President, Mrs. W. Jones; vice-presidents. Miss A. Cookson and Mrs. A. O. Brown; secretary-treasurer, Mrs. W. A. Christiansen; committee, Mesdames May, Eades, Coote, Xapier, Stevenson, McInnes, K. Simmonds, Cooke, W. E. Crawford and Goodwin. The executive will solicit the 00-operaition of all women's organisations in the district.
