MR. LESLIE S. WOOD.
A member of the <=taff of the Seddon Memorial Technical College. Mr. Leslie S. Wood, of Halston Road, Mount Eden has died, aged 39. Mr. Wood, who hold a captain's commission in the cadets, acted for some time as organist at tli.' Sandringham and Grange Road Baptist Churches. Youngest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Wood, of Thames, Mr. Wood received his primary and eecondary education at that centre and in 1921 obtained hi* M.A. degree with honours. Before joining the staff of the Technical College in 1932 he. had taught at the Hamilton, Rotorua an.l Dargaville High Schools. He is survived by his wife and one son.
