AN EPSOM "JOB."
" MASTER CRACKSMAN." STEALS THRIFT CLUB MONEY. A thief., who had probably been reading a crime thriller, afte-r breaking into the office of Seabrook Fowlds, Limited's, assembly works in Manukau Road. Epsom, during the week-end, stole £o in cash and left behind a note on which wae printed, "The Master Cracksman." The theti, was discovered when a member of the firm opened up this morning. Entrance had been gained by forcing a window. Search had been made in the office for cash and a wooden cabinet forced open. This contained about £5 in cash, comprising the contributions of members of the staff to tha thrift club. There is a strong suspicion that the thief was a juvenile.
