THOUSANDS OF ENGINES. (Received '2 i>.n>.) LONDON', June IS. Lord Beaverbrook, Minister of Aircraft Production, announced that a contract had been placed with the Ford Company at Detroit for the manufacture of 0000 Rolls-Royce Merlin engines. Production will start within a month. Deliveries will start early in 1941.
