Do the people of this couotrv, ''This Unguarded Treasure," imagine thev are more enlightened, more cultured or in any way freer than those of France? As every parent knows, it is so much easier to spoil a child; to humour it often at the expense of other members of the family. The people of New Zealand ought now to solemnly ask themselves these questions: Do they prefer radio stations or rifles? Bulldozers or tanks? Social security or national security ■> ENG LISHWOMAN.
