WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government meteororogist liiuad to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland Province to •■ far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— Light to moderate ana variable winds, with easterly directions predominating. Weather mainly fair to fine, with some morning fogs, however, and drizzle later in the far north. Temperatures moderate to mild. Seas light. The stationary anti-cyclone covering New Zealand and the Tasman Seas has become more intense. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki .Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, calm; sea, smooth; weather, fine; visibility, good; barometer, steady.
