FOOTBALL INJURIES.
FOUR PLAYERS XH HOSPITAL.
Playing Rugby football for the Suburbs fifth grade team at the Epsom show grounds on Saturday afternoon, lionald Marshall, aged 17, upholsterer, of 28, Blockhouse Bay Road, Avondale, received concussion and was admitted to the Auckland Hospital. His condition, at first regarded as serious, has now improved considerably. Concussion also wajs suffered by Ronald Charles McKay, aged 17, student, of 57, Symonds Street, who was playing for the Training College second grade Rugby team. He was admitted to the Auckland Hospital. His condition is not serious. A fractured leg was suffered by the well-known Opotiki representative, I. Walker, while playing in a match at Opotiki. He wm admitted to hospital. Playing for the Marist senior Rugby League team, Mr. Gordon Crooker, aged 28, married, warehouseman, Edinburgh Street, suffered a fractured right forearm. He received treatment at the Auckland Hospital.
