MARATHON LAW CASE.
STTIMC OF £52,000 claimed. (From Out Correspondent.) GISBORXE, Wednesday. The Hall Estate case continues to occupy the attention of Mr. Justice Callan at the Supreme Court at GisWhen the case commenced on March 7, it was estimated that it ivould last three weeks, but the end is not yet in sight. The case is one in which F. T. Hall and others allege conspiracy and wrongful acts in the administration of the estate of the late Fred Hall, and claim £.52,000 from the Union Bank of Australia, the Guardian Trust and Executors Company. Limited, Frank Wrey Nolan, and the Bank of New Zealand. The hearing is now nearing the end nf the eighth week, but this period !::i'luded the Easter vacation.
