SANITARY INSPECTORS.
Advice was received to-day from the Royal Sanitary Institute, London, that 12 of the 15 candidates who presented themselves at the examination for _ sanitary inspectors in Auckland and Wellington in December have been successful. The following is the list:—Robert Agnew, Point Chevalier; William (jcoige Allowav, Wellington; Stanley Gcoige Blake, Nelson; Howard Alexander Brugn, Whangarei; James George Francis. Wellington; Owen Terence Hannigan, Mount Eden; Gilbert William Key, Karon; Alfred George Langford, Lower Hutt; David McGregor Lawson. Birkenheaa; Julius Joseph Norman, Auckland; Gordon Robert Oliver. Wellington, Arthur George Tinney, Northland. Sidney Herbert Dawe. of Masterton, was successful in the examination in sanitary science ae applied to buildings and public works.
