NEW CASUALTY LIST. One Killed, Two Missing And Two Wounded. AUSTRALIAN AWARDED D.F.C. United Press Association.—Copyright. ; (Bieeived 11 a.m.) LONDON, April 19. The Air Ministry casualty list No. 26 includes one New Zealander killed, two missing and two wounded, and seven Australians killed. Pilot-Officer K. Brooke-Taylor, of Wellington, was killed in action. PilotOfficer D. A. Rankin, of Wellington, is missing and believed killed in action. Pilot-Officer G. J. D. Yorke, of Foxton, is missing. Pilot-Officer M. A. Poulton, of Christchurch, was wounded in action, and Pilot-Officer N. W. Walders, of Palmerston North, was wounded on active service. Flying-Officer D. J. French, of Melbourne, was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for his part in the raid on Bergen, Norway. The official announcement says that "in the face of intense anti-aircraft fire he attacked a German cruiser in Bergen roadstead, enabling his bomber to secure a direct hit. The operation necessitated flying more than 1000 miles over the sea."
