WEATHER FORECAST.
I FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government meteorologist iuued to the "Auctland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland Province to as far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga;— Strong but gradually decreasing south to south-west winds. Weather m£inly fair and cool, but occasional passing showers are still probable. Seas rough, but moderating inshore on the east coast. A cyclonic disturbance ia now centred north or Chatham Islands, while an anti-cyclone extends from j tho west over the Tasman Sea. HAURAXI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, south-south-west, strong: | sea, rough; weather, cloudy and haty; visibility, moderate; barometer, rising. i i
