Miss Irene Rutherford presided at a social afternoon held at the Woman's Progress Club. Mr*. C. Richards nnd Miss Betty Wpiro sang, while Mrs. L. Grace played piano «oloe- and accompanied the soloUts. Misri Xitu Webster and Miss G. Fraser both gave elocutionary items. Mrs. H. M. Birchall and Mies F. Brinsmead were tea hnntcsweu.
