OVERSEAS LEAGUE.
EMERGENCY GROUP. A concert arranged by Mrs. X. V. Le Petit for the combined emergency group of the Overseas League and the Australian Club, which is working to provide comforts for the li.yhtinjr services, was held , uijrht at the' Overseas League rooms. The quests were received liy tlie hostesses, Mrs. Webster. Mrs. K* M. Pool and Miss A. Cirenfell Spencer. The projiramnic. which included vocal. instrumental and humorous items, was provided by Mrs. .1. Parry. Miss Betty Sullivan. Mi<ss Patricia MeLeod, Mr. Alan MeKl.wiiin. Mr. Krnest Thomas, Mr. \ictor Le Petit. Mr. Kohald Batkins and Mr. Parry. Mrs. Harold Bollard was the accompanist. Mrs. M. Sehmidt, the supper convener, was assisted by Miss K. H. Willoughby, the convener of the emergency group.
