WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government meteorologist issued to the "Auckland Btar" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland Province to as far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— Winds light to fresh and rather variable, with westerly directions predominating. Weather cloudy and unsettled. with scattered drizzle or rain. Temperatures moderate to mild. Seas slight to mods rate. A complex disturbance lies over the Cominion, with lowest pressure to the south-west. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hsuraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, west, light; sea, smooth; weather, One but cloudy; visibility, good; baromster, steady.
