RUGBY FOOTBALL.
PUKEKOHE UNION. Delegates were present at the annual meeting of the I'ukekohe Ilugby snh-uniou last evening, from Wanderers. Bombay, Onewliero. Paturuanoe and Huimai clubs, the president, Mr. W. Patterson presiding. The balance-sheet disclosed a sound financial position, a small profit on last year beins shown. Principal officers are : I"atron. Mr. J. X. Massey, M.l\ : president. Mr. Patterson: secretary, Mr. Neilsen : delegates to South Auckland Union. Messrs. Patterson anil J. Mill: delegate to Rercrees' Association. Mr. Patterson: selectors, Messrs. N. Sandin (senior) and A. Peterson (jiHiior) : auditor, Mr. M. Campbell.
It was decided to amalgamate with the Waiuku Union, as was the cast last year, to conduct inter-dub competitions.
Owing to enlistments lor overseas service with the fighting forces seme of the teams have been baaly depleted.
