CLEANLINESS.
I, also, would Tike to endoree Uβ m> mark* of "Cleanliness" and P. O»roer«a. For rears now I have wondered why fht authorities cannot make it an offem and pat a stop to a most habit. Apart from the' spreading ef deadly diseases, it is terrible to h*n to walk over it. When I wae in Wellington I noticed that the council hat notices on many posts. "Do Not Spit on the Footpathe." To ray mind it should read. "Not to Spit in "the Gutter, Either." It is time that eomethiig was done to pot a stop to it. DISGUSTED.
