MILK VENDORS' VOTE.

NO CONFIDENCE IX COUNCIL

At a meeting of the Auckland Miik Vendors' Association yesterday afternoon, a vote of no confidence in tli«Auckland Metropolitan Milk Council was carried unanimously. There was a large attendance, Mr. J. Ha slam being in the chair.

The recent increase in the yrU-r of milk to consumer* in the metropolitan area, (Ud per quart in zoned anas, and "d in <>i>en areas, as fixed by the Milk Council, had. it was contended by tinspeakers at yesterday's meeting, resulted in a reduced margin to vendors of 20 per cent, which did not permit of a vendor with the average round of from 36 to 40 gallons earning the basic wage.
