The fields engaged at the Cambridge Xrotting Club's meeting to-morrow are of nice size, and., what is of more importance to t&e avei ;:■_-•_ follower of the sport, is that most of the horees engaged have raced recently. The programme has t>een limited to seven eveute, the linst being timeil to start at 12.45, aud the last at 445. A special train will leave Auckland a t 8.6 ajm., Newmarket 8.13 a.m., and it is scheduled to reach the racecourse siding ;t 11.53. Betting will be on the -«-in and place system.

Sixteen novices are listed for the Introductory Handicap, aud Xawton Junior, Star Guide, De! Potts, Princess Liunet, and Snowy Biuret! have experience and placed perioimalices to their credit. Xawton Junior ran third to Albertini and Bi>nnitHlene in the December Handicap at Alexandra Park a few months ago in •'.33 4-3. and ho was tourt.h at his last start, wh'le Princess Linnet finished well n second pli.ee to Kinawley last Saturauy. The fav.niritee may be Star Guide, Xawton Junior, Del Potts.

Radio Queen's two minor platings at Epsom in K-bniary entitle her to respect for the Ha'.itarm Handicap, in which, she will probably meet the toughest opposition from Kewpie's Bingen, Silk Lady. Tumble and John's Last, but investors may decide tor Radio Queen, Kewpie's Birigen and John's Last.

Revision won the Tiirua Bracelet so well last week-end that the Jack Potts mare is sure to be in great demand by investors on the result oi the Winter Handicap. The Jack Potts mare covered the mile and a hall in 3.22, and was travelling t-o well over the last furlong that it is iuiprobaible the extra halt mile of this race will trouble her. Tranewell, 36yds, was a good third to e ' tilst J ac 'k and Our Jewel m the Winter Handicap at Thames, after losing a couple of seconds at the start, and if he were to go away promptly to-morrow he should take a lot of beating. Our Jewel, now on 4Syds, is another who is entitled to respect, and, up doubt, there ivill be backing for Isabella Pointer and Television, but those who should ibe prominent in the final run to the judge are Revision, Transwell and Our Jewel.

A poor lot--of trotters figure in the Leamington Handicap, two miles, and 'both Bournemouth and Master Wrack, on the limit, are giving away time in coming into the clase. Glen Bingen won the other day, ;but no great merit attached to his victory, while Great Guy, 12yds, lias not had a ran for , several months. However, the Great Parrish gelding races well -when fresh* Air Pilot, 72yds, has it in hie favour that he is now in J. T. Paul's stable. The issue eiay be fought out by Bournemouth, Great Guy and Air Pilot.

Although he failed at Thames, Sir Echo, who is in the Bardowie Handicap, was an impressive third in defeat, and the race may improve him. Taioiaiti, 12yds, was plaoed recently on the Taranaki circuit, and these two horses should 'be capable of extending some of those who compete in the Introductory Handicap. In fact, most popular may 'be Sir Echo, Taimaiti and .Nawton Junior.

The field for the Bruptwood 'Handicap includes Ihi ihi, who won w§ll Saturday, and Double Peter, a promising (performer a few months ago. Bipgen's"*Best scored at the last Cambridge fixture, and looks well, as does Petite Jewel, 'but Kitty's Choice, yet to be seen at her best, is ;by no means- out of it from 48yds. Most favoured may ibe Kitty's Choice, Ihi Ihi, Double Peter.

Most open event of the day is the President's Handicap, in which those eniitled to consideration include Decoy Bird, John's Last and Revision-Tinker bracket.
