CROQUET CLUBS.
St. Helier'a.—An enjoyable party was piven by Mrs. Moore, president of the St. Helier'e Bay Croquet Club, to the memibere of the club. A progressive tournament was played in which the winners were:—A grade, Mrs. Day; B grade, Mrs. Thompson. .._.., c
Mount Albert.—A "happy time was epent-on the Mount Albert croquet lawns "when the president, Mrs. F. J. Smith, entertained mentfbere" end friends at :a progressive afternoon. "The .winners were:—A: Mrs. Ellis, Mrs. Maxwell, Mrs. Lowe and Mrs. Percy. : B: JMrs. Hicke, Mrs. Gadd, Mrs; KelsalL atfit' Mrs. Holde■worth. During the afternoon recess Mrs. Clark, vice-president, thanked Mre. Smith on behalf of the members for her hospitality. Mrs. Dawson presented Mrs. Smith with a 'bouquet in the club colours, red and gold.
