HIGHER WAGES.
RAILWAY UNIONS' DEMAND
(Received 10.30 a.m.) LOXDOX. April 11. Railway trade unions have applied for an increase of (>/ a week for traffic grades, and £15 a year for salaried workers. Half a million workers are involved. It is recalled that an advance of 4/ was granted in December, -when 10/ was claimed.
