ONE CHANGE IN SELECTORS. RULING ON PLAYER'S TRANSFER. Complimentary reference to the success of opening cho- of the season on Saturday was made by Mr. E. J. Plielan, deputychairman of the Auckland Rugby League Control Board last evening, when presiding in the absence of Mr. G. Grey Campbell. Acting on the club nomination, a ballot resulted in the election of Messrs. H. Brisbane. W. K. Cloke and A. J. McGregor as Auckland senior selectors for the season. Mr. McGregor, international three-quarter of both codes, replaces Mr. H. Avery, the former international forward, who captained the New Zealand 1926 team to England.
