TOURNEY IN AUCKLAND.

FIRST ROUND PLATED.

The annual Xcnr Zealand ladies' autumn foursomes handicap golf competition iras commenced at One Tree Hill morning, 64 couples taking part. Some of the matches went the full eighteen holes, and further, and one did not finish utitHl tb« -Ist hole. A ruling by the committee meant the loss of the hole to the pair who had made the error in suggesting that tin stymie should be waived.
