Steamer Carrying Floor To
Second A.I.F.
WATERSIDE DISPUTE.
SYDNEY, April 8. The waterside workers have decided to load the flour into the steamer, which is loading supplies for the Australian Imperial Force in Palestine, but they insisted upon taking time off for a "smoko."
TO BE KNOWN AS A.I.F.
AUSTRALIAN OVERSEAS ARMT
(Received noon.) CANBERRA, this day. The Australian Army for overseas service in future will be known as the Australian Imperial Force, not as at present as the Second Australian Imperial Force. High military officials believe there is no longer any need for the distinguishing term.
