(Received 12.30 p.m.) BRISBANE, this day. Serious interruptions to telegraphic, telephonic and railway communications have been caused in Northern Queensland by a cyclone. Two large railway bridges have been washed awav.
Because of the record flooding of the Burdekin River, all the peopte in the town of Honiehill. which has a population of 2215, have been evacuatod-
The water has reached a depth of ten Vet in the main street of the town.
