The Wellington City Council ended its financial year with a surplus of £15,269 according to a brief report by the Mayor.' Mr. T. C. A. Hislop. The surplus last year was £16.750. The Mayor said that, having regard to the circumstances, the position could be viewed as highly satisfactory and gave a good basis on which to start the current financial year.
