While Mr. D. R. Williams, Public Works Department engineer at Paeroa, was motoring to Hamilton at the weekend his five-year-old son, lan, who was in the back seat, unfastened the door, which flew open, dragging the child out. The car was travelling rapidly and the child suffered severe injuries to its head, feeing unconscious when admitted to the Waikato Hosoital.
