The five-year-old son of Mr. W. H. Parish, Racecourse Road, Te Awainutu, had a narrow escape from death when watching his elder brother o)>eratin? a tractor-drawn topdresser in a paddock. The boy had been cautioned to keep well away from the tractor, but lie disobeyed the instruction and was later found lying in a slight depression. He was unconscious, with head injuries, but no bones were broken and he is now progressing satisfactorily.
