NEW METROPOLE CABARET.
Sammy Lee and his versatile Americanadians excelled themselves in their rhythmic performance at the Xew Metropole Cabaret on Saturday evening, and dancers demonstrated their enjoyment in rounds of applause and demands for encores. Interspersed with the newest dance hits from abroad, including a descriptive version of "Little Red Fox," was a succession of popular tunes, varying from swing measure to stately waltzes. Effective accompaniments by the trumpeters added to the strength of the musical specialties, and the singers, Bobbie Reid. Roy Lester. Xeil Thurgate and Miss Joy Rovelle provided pleasing variety. The cabaret is now under the direction of Mr. Alfred Fenn, who is organising fresh attractions for the season.
