SOCIAL HELD.
PIONEERS' DESCENDANTS. The Xew Zealand Descendants Pioneers' Club held its first social for the year in the Fabian Club rooms. Officials present were: Mrs. Johnston (president), Mrs. Kelly (treasurer), and Mr. Kelly (master of ceremonies). Hostesses" were Mrs. Bartlett, Mrs. Howarth and Mrs. Johnston. Misses Beresford played the music. The social committee comprised Mrs. Kelly, Mr*. Howarth and Miss Lynch, and an excellent programme was provided.
