Sensational Score By Lloyd Mangrum. MASTERS' GOLF TOURNEY. (Received 2.50 p.m.) April 4. A sensational round of 64 by Lloyd Mangrum marked the opening of the masters' golf tournament over 72 holes at Augusta. Mangrum's score was two under the course record and eight under par, which is 72. The next best scores were:—Demaret 67, H. Cooper, B. Nelson 69, Lawson Little, Craig Wood 70, Henry Picard, T. Armour, H. Goggin 71, P. Runyan, R. Yates and Burke 72, Ben Hogan 73, Ward and Guldahl 74. The. Australian, J. Ferrier, had a round of 73. Bobby Jones, making his only appearance of the year in competitive golf, took 79.
