Laidley. who has b«en euperintendent minister of the Gieborne circuit for the past four years, and is now. after 40 years' service in the Methodist Church, retiring, was farewelled at a social gathering in the Methodist echool hall. Mr. and Mrs. Leadley will make their home in Auckland. Tributes were paid to Mr. and Mm. LMdley'e work by representatives of various organisations, and presentations were made on behalf of Church workers ■and the congregation.
