SECONDARY SCHOOLS. EXCITING RACING ANTICIPATED. The annual hcad-of-the-hnrl>our regatta under the auspices of the Aucklanvl Secondary Schools' Rowing Association will be held on the Tamakl Drive course on Saturday, April 20. The Mount Albert School lamleil its new elght-oar boat recently from Sharpe, of Wanganui. Official doting of Season. The West End Rowing Club's season will be officially closed to-morrow afternoon when at the boat house, St. Mary's Bay, the president's At Home will be held. During the afternoon a set of trial fours will be rowed for trophies donated by Mr. A. C. Norden, president, and trial elghte for the Mre. Mortimer Fair's Memorial Shield. The new boathousc built by the Auckland Harbour Board are nearing completion, and members are looking forward to being housed in one of the most modern boatuouses in the Dominion. The Auckland Rowing Club's season will be officially closed to-morrow afternoon when the president's At Home will be held in the boat house. King's Drive. Trial foure will also be rowed, and upon this occasion the course will be in front of the boathouse. The club has had a splendid provincial regatta season, finishing in second place, while one New Zealand title, the single sculls, has been retained. The Waitemata and St. George's Clubs will m all probability aleo row a set of trials.
