The Auckland Manx Societv held their annual meeting in the Harmony Hall, when a large number of members attended. The officer* elected for the ensuin" year were.—Patron, Captain Bell; pie" sident, R. Oatßeld (re-elected); lion, secretary, G. Creegeen, lion, treasurer, N. Cashin; lion, auditor M. Cowlev;' vice-presidents, Mrs. F.llison, sen., and Messrs. Oat field and Cain; committee, Mesdames Creegeen. O. Gatfield, Cain Piper. Taggart. Duke. Cashin and R Oatfiehl, Messrs. R. Clague, P. F. Clague. Ellison, sen.. Kiiiley, Cleavej fiat Held nnd J. Cunningham. After supper the community singing of Manx songs was enjoyed;" also" an address was given by a Manx lady, Mrs. Harden, mother of Captain Oscar Garden, master of the recently-arrived boat Awarua. * ".
