ALLIES RECEIVE OIL MEANT FOR GERMANY.
DELIVERY PROBLEMS. Nazi Pressure Applied To Rumania. i MINISTER ATTACKED. United Tress Association.—Copyright. (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, March 24. The Paris radio says the Allies received from Rumania in the past six months, not only all the oil for which they bargained, but also 6000 tons which transport, difficulties prevented Germany taking from her. A message from Bucharest says the German Note to Rumania, which was reported to have been couched in extreme terms, is believed to have said not only that Germany will not tolerate continual changes in Rumania's foreign trade regulations, but also her system of dealing in foreign currencies. The Note points out the necessity of a readjustment of the mark-lei rate more favourable to Germany and a reduction of export prices, also an increase in the volume of German trade with Rumania and a. speeding up of oil and agricultural production. Germany also demands «n improvement in transport. It is understood that the Note sharply attacks the Minister of Foreign Trade, M. ChrUtu. The Rumanian Government has appointed a trade delegation to visit London to negotiate a new payments agreement and a basis for the exchange of goods.
