Not even bothering to remove his font, the Indian, Mahomed Singh Aznd, sauntered into Court smilingly when appearing on remand on a charge of feloniously murdering Sir Michael O'Dwycr, former Governor of the Punjab, lit C'axton Hall. The Director of Public Prosecutions said it was believed accused's real name was Udham Singh, and the charge was accordingly amended.
