AIR BATTLESHIP.
Will Carry 28 Tons Of Bombs. CONSTRUCTION IN AMERICA. (Received 10.30 a.m.) WASHINGTON, -March 22. The Army announces that the Douglas Company i*s building a 70-ton _ foiircn"ined" super-bomber to carry 2S tons of"bombs. Tt will have a GOOO miles non-stop range and a wing span of -210 feet. Its speed will bo over 200 miles an hour. The initial cost of the bomber will be 1.000,000 dollars, but it will lie producable in large numbers at from 300,000 to 350,000 dollars. It U expected that tests of the new bomber will be carried out in the early summer.
